Officers and Members of Local 92 would like to remember Sister Juanna Hanlon. Sister Juanna was an 11-year Member of Local 92. She sadly passed away on December 31, 2025.
Officers and Members of Local 92 would like to remember Brother Joey Ryan. Brother Joey was a 7-year Member of Our Local. He sadly passed away on January 10, 2026.
Officers and Members would like to remember Brother Alvin Hunter. Brother Alvin was a 41-year member of Our Local. He sadly passed away on January 10, 2026. His family will be having a service for him in Saskatchewan later in the year.
Officers and Members of Local 92 would like to remember Brother David Doyle. Brother Dave Doyle was a 17-year Member of Local 92. He sadly passed away on January 12, 2026.

MICHELS- PEMBINA LATOR PROJECT - is requesting the following EXPERIENCED PIPELINE LABOURERS for HD BORES:
4P/L for DAYS (JOB# 58548 & 58549)
2P/L for NIGHTS (JOB# 58547)
ALL to report January 28th at 7:00am to perform pipeline labour duties on HD Bores Crew. Must have 5+ years’ Experience with Big Inch Mainline Pipeline, 3+ years’ Experience working on HD Bores Crew & Tie-in Crews have Experience with securing & strapping downloads, physically fit (able to carry pumps, hoses and skids in and out of ditch), be competent operating trash pumps, pumping water and full operating knowledge of associated equipment to bid as this job will be screened by a Business Agent. Employees will also receive a competency assessment upon arrival (those deemed not suitable will be sent back). Duties will include heavy lifting & carrying up to 55lbs, assisting other employees as required, repetitive tasks (sitting, standing, twisting, kneeling, crawling, walking & climbing ladders), use of tools and intensive labour outdoors in all weather conditions in a congested/fast-paced work environment. Must be able to take directions from supervision & perform all duties required independently without any restrictions or limitations. ALL must be physically fit, have PCST, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Flagging, Ground Disturbance Level 2, WHMIS-2015 (within 3 years) and Rigging & Hoisting. Duration is 2 weeks+ working 6x10’s (must be willing to work on Days OR Nights & OT as required). You must have your own transportation to site & LOA is available at $200/day until Camp rooms become available. The rate for this job is $31/hr. Multiple Online Orientations must be completed prior to arrival on site.

Notice to Members: Ellement Consulting is moving locations as of September 1, 2025. The new location is 1050 – 11150 Jasper Ave NW Edmonton. Their office will be located on the 10th floor of the Devonian Building. If anyone has appointments booked with a pension analyst between August 16- September 1, 2025, the appointment will take place at the new location.
**Attention Members**: The Next Monthly Membership meeting will be held on Saturday, January 24th, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at the Edmonton Union Hall (15104 – 121A Ave NW, Edmonton). All members are welcome to attend.**
Please be advised that there will be no increase in monthly dues for 2026. Monthly dues will remain the same at $43 per month throughout the year.
NOTICE TO LOCAL 92 PENSIONERS FROM BUSINESS MANAGER JOHN DESROSIERS: I am pleased to announce a pension increase of 5%. This had been announced and discussed at previous monthly Union meetings. The increase has taken effect May 1, 2025 and includes retroactive pay from January 1, 2025. On a go forward basis, June 1, 2025 you will notice the 5% increase to your pension amount
Please be advised that if you have not been previously dispatched to any Pipeline Jobs through Local 92, you will be required to provide proof of experience PRIOR to bidding in the form of a ROE or Letterhead from the Company you previously worked for.

RSAP PROGRAM
Notice to Members enrolled in the VOLUNTARY RSAP Program: MEMBERS ENROLLED IN THE VOLUNTARY PORTION OF RSAP WITH ACTIVE STATUS, WILL NO LONGER HAVE TO RE-TEST. YOUR RSAP STATUS WILL REMAIN ACTIVE. TESTING AFTER A 6 MONTH PERIOD IS NO LONGER REQUIRED. If you are unsure of your RSAP status, please call Amanda Stefanizyn @ the Edmonton office directly at (780)801-5126. This change has been made by the RSAP Committee as of January 1, 2025. For Members currently in case management, there will be no change.
DRUG & ALCOHOL TESTING
Local 92 does not send members for Alcohol and Drug testing. The contractors require you to take these tests as per the site owners. You must refer to your dispatch slip and call the phone number that is listed next to "A&D Testing" in order to have a test booked in your area. Please do not proceed to orientation until you have spoken with the contractor.
TICKETS
Please ensure that all your tickets and skills are updated and on file for bidding purposes. Please do NOT bid on any job that you do not have the required tickets for. Any members who have any further questions regarding Local 92 dispatch rules, please call 780 426 6630 and speak to a business agent.
Please note; it is becoming increasingly more important that ANY members who accept a dispatch to any site, have a VALID Government issued photo ID. If you do not have valid government issued photo ID please do NOT accept a dispatch.
COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS
Any members that wish to read the Collective Agreement that they are working under can access them by visiting the CLRA (Construction Labour Relations of Alberta) website.
SUCCESSFUL BID
If you successfully bid on a job and dispatch cannot reach you within one hour of closing the callout, the job will go to the next lowest bidder on the list or back on the callout.
