Officers and Members of Local 92 would like to remember Brother James McDonald. Brother James was a 50-year Member of Our Local. He sadly passed away on August 29, 2026.
Officers and Members of Local 92 would also like to remember Sister Rose Miller. Sister Rose was a 47- year Member of Local 92. She was also the first Indigenous female job steward to represent Our Local. She sadly passed away on September 6, 2026.

BIRD- DOW CHEMICAL (FORT SASKATCHEWAN, AB)- is requesting the following:
1 FOREMAN (With Experience) to report September 15th (JOB# 59515)
**Please Note** Foreman duties will include: Supervise & direct Labour crews in daily work activities, plan & assign tasks, ensure all work is done safely, communicating effectively with general foreman & supervision and ensure competency & performance expectations are met. Must have previous Experience with all duties listed to bid as these positions will be screened by a Business Agent.
ALL to report on the start dates listed at 6:30am for Orientation to perform general labour duties. Must have CSTS, BSO/CSO, ESC Confined Space Monitor & Entry and WHIMIS. Duration is 2 weeks+ working 14x7 schedule (10hr shifts) and you must have your own transportation as there is No bussing/No camp/No loa.
CAM – SUNCOR PLANT 7 (FORT MCMURRAY, AB) (JOB#59498) – Is requesting 1G/L for DAYS to report ASAP at 8:00am/pm for orientation to perform general labour duties. Must be clean shaven, be able to wear & work with ½ mask respirator, physically fit and must be able to climb. Must also have CSTS-09/2020, OSSA Orientation/BSO/CSO, ESC Confined Space Monitor & Entry, ESC Fall Protection, H2S Alive, Air Purifying Respirator (APR), Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE), WHIMIS-2015 and Fit Test. Duration is 2 weeks+, working 6&1 (12hr shifts) and Camp is Available (Fort McMurray Village/Borealis). *Multiple online orientations to be completed prior to arrival on site*
MML – SUNCOR BASEPLANT (FORT MCMURRAY, AB) - is requesting the following:
4G/L to report September 23rd (JOB#59509);
6G/L to report September 21st (JOB#59510);

All to report on the start dates listed for orientation to perform general labour duties including garbage clean-up, flagging, lawn maintenance and snow removal duties. Must be physically fit, able to climb stairs & ladders and be comfortable using electronic devices for permitting & completing work reports and be proficient in computers & emails for daily work tasks. Must also have CSTS-09/2020, OSSA Orientation or BSO/CSO, ESC Confined Space Monitor & Entry, ESC Fall Protection, ESC Firewatch, Flagging, Gas Detection, H2S Alive, Air Purifying Respirator (APR), Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE), WHIMIS-2015 and Valid Class 5 Driver’s License. Duration is 2 weeks+, working 7x7(12hr shifts *Must be willing to switch DAYS & NIGHTS if required*) and Locals are Preferred as there is NO Camp or NO LOA. *Multiple Online Orientation/courses must be completed within 5 days of receiving dispatch slip*.
MML – SYNCRUDE CMS SHOP (FORT MCMURRAY, AB) (JOB#59479) – is requesting 1 G/L/FORKLIFT OPERATOR to report ASAP at 7:00 am for orientation to perform Forklift duties general labour duties including general clean-up, flagging, lawn maintenance and operating a forklift. Must be physically fit, be able to climb stairs & ladders, be comfortable using electronic devices for permitting & completing work reports and be proficient in computers & emails for daily work tasks. Must have CSTS-09/2020, OSSA Orientation/OSSA BSO/CSO, Flagging, RPE, APR, ESC Firewatch, Gas Detection, a valid Driver’s License and a Forklift ticket (with experience). Working 12hr shifts (must be willing to switch from DAYS & NIGHTS when required). Locals are Preferred as there is NO Camp/No LOA. *Multiple Online Orientation/courses must be completed within 5 days of receiving dispatch slip*.
PCL(MELLOY)- PIMI/AGRIUM REDWATER 2026 MAINTENANCE & SUPPORT (REDWATER, AB) (JOB# 59475)- is requesting the 1G/L for NIGHTS to report ASAP to perform general labour duties including SPARKWATCH, MANWATCH, working in a live plant/brownfield environment, climbing, working at elevations, lifting & carrying up to 50lbs and working in confined/restricted work areas with lost of heavy equipment. Must be Clean Shaven Daily, have CSTS-09/2020, OSSA Orientation or OSSA BSO/CSO, OSSA Confined Space Monitor & Entry, OSSA Firewatch, WHIMIS 2015 and Valid Driver’s License (All tickets must be valid for minimum of 60 days from start date). Duration is unknown, working 6x10’s and you must have your own transportation as there is No Bussing/No Camp/No Loa. *Multiple Online Orientation must be completed prior to arrival on site.
42 WEST – CNRL HORIZON – NMA AGREEMENT (FORT MCMURRAY, AB) – is requesting the following:

Please be advised that there will be no increase in monthly dues for 2026. Monthly dues will remain the same at $43 per month throughout the year.
Please be advised that if you have not been previously dispatched to any Pipeline Jobs through Local 92, you will be required to provide proof of experience PRIOR to bidding in the form of a ROE or Letterhead from the Company you previously worked for.

RSAP PROGRAM
Notice to Members enrolled in the VOLUNTARY RSAP Program: MEMBERS ENROLLED IN THE VOLUNTARY PORTION OF RSAP WITH ACTIVE STATUS, WILL NO LONGER HAVE TO RE-TEST. YOUR RSAP STATUS WILL REMAIN ACTIVE. TESTING AFTER A 6 MONTH PERIOD IS NO LONGER REQUIRED. If you are unsure of your RSAP status, please call Amanda Stefanizyn @ the Edmonton office directly at (780)801-5126.
DRUG & ALCOHOL TESTING
Local 92 does not send members for Alcohol and Drug testing. The contractors require you to take these tests as per the site owners. You must refer to your dispatch slip and call the phone number that is listed next to "A&D Testing" in order to have a test booked in your area. Please do not proceed to orientation until you have spoken with the contractor.
TICKETS
Please ensure that all your tickets and skills are updated and on file for bidding purposes. Please do NOT bid on any job that you do not have the required tickets for. Any members who have any further questions regarding Local 92 dispatch rules, please call 780 426 6630 and speak to a business agent.
Please note; it is becoming increasingly more important that ANY members who accept a dispatch to any site, have a VALID Government issued photo ID. If you do not have valid government issued photo ID please do NOT accept a dispatch.
COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS
Any members that wish to read the Collective Agreement that they are working under can access them by visiting the CLRA (Construction Labour Relations of Alberta) website.
SUCCESSFUL BID
If you successfully bid on a job and dispatch cannot reach you within one hour of closing the callout, the job will go to the next lowest bidder on the list or back on the callout.
