JOBS AVAILABLE :
ELLIS DON – GLENRIDDING HEIGHTS (16520 RABBIT HILL ROAD, EDMONTON AB) (JOB#59067) – is requesting 1G/L to report ASAP at 7:00 am for orientation to perform general labour duties including de-watering, general clean-up and operating a zoom boom and skid steer.
Must be physically fit (very large site), able to work at heights and have previous experience operating zoom boom & skid steer as this position will be screened by a business agent. Must have CSTS, Zoom Boom and Skid Steer ticket. Duration is 1 week+, working 5x8’s +/- (overtime, evenings & weekends are required as needed) and you must have your own transportation as there is NO Camp/No LOA. The rate for this position is per the Commercial Agreement ($28.37/hr).
ALCOR – HORIZON (FORT MCMURRAY, AB) (JOB#59271) – is requesting the following for DAYS:

All to report August 10th at 7:00 am for orientation to perform general labour duties including operating a skid steer, creating a new laydown for a warehouse, operate a roller packer, help with warehouse inventory & palliating, moving material and any other duties requested by the contractor. Must have previous experience operating a Skid Steer and be able to level the grade when operating as this will be screened by a business agent. Must also have CSTS-09, OSSA Orientation or OSSA BSO/CSO and Skid Steer Ticket. Duration is 2 weeks+, working 8hr+ shifts and Camp is Available.
CAM – DOW HCP OUTAGE (FORT SASKATCHEWAN, AB)(JOB#59275) – is requesting 1 TOOL CRIB ATTENDENT for NIGHTS – start on DAYS & switch to nights (Aug 23rd) to report August 10th at 6:30 am/pm to perform general labour duties including climbing, entering confined spaces using equipment & tools, working at heights and be able to wear a respiratory mask when required. Must be clean shaven, be familiar with different tools and have previous experience working in the tool crib to bid as this will be screened. Must also have CSTS-09, OSSA Orientation, ESC Confined Space Monitor & Entry, ESC Fall Protection, WHIMIS and Toolhound Ticket. Duration 1 month+/-, working 4x10’s – pre-outage and the switch to 6x10’s for the outage and you must have your own transportation as there is NO Camp/Bussing/LOA. *Multiple online orientation to be competed prior to arrival on site*
BIRD- DOW- **CIVIL WORK** (FORT SASKATCHEWAN, AB) (JOB#59242) is requesting 1 G/L for NIGHTS to report August 10th at 6:15pm for to perform CIVIL WORK duties. Must be in good physical shape and maintain a steady pace walking in and out of excavations able to lift 40lbs continuously, Able to understand grades and elevations with a laser level. Able to shovel and rake material to required elevation. Able to work with heavy industrial equipment like Excavators/ loaders/ Rock trucks/ Skid steers/ Dozers and understand Human Machine Interface. ALL must be physically fit, able to maintain a steady pace, repetitive movements (standing/bending/kneeling), heavy lifting upto 50lbs, pushing/pulling upto 30lbs, working at heights and must have minimum 3 years Experience with ALL duties listed above to bid as this job will be screened by a Business Agent**. ALL must also have CSTS-09 & OSSA Orientation/BSO/CSO, OSSA Confined Space Monitor & Entry, OSSA Fall Protection and a valid Class 5 Driver’s License. Duration is unknown, working 6X10’s and LOA is available ($150/per day with the 120km Rule in effect). You must have your own transportation as there is No bussing/No camp.** Online Orientation must be completed prior to arrival on site.
CLEARWATER – CANADIAN FERTILIZER (MEDICINE HAT, AB) – is requesting the following:

All to report August 17th at 7:00 am for orientation to perform general labour duties. Must have CSTS, ESC Confined Space Monitor & Entry, ESC Fall Protection, WHIMIS and Mask Fit Test (1/2 & Full Mask). Duration is 2 weeks+, working 6&1 and you must have your own transportation as there is NO Bussing/No Camp. LOA is Available at $170.00/day. *Multiple online orientations to be completed prior to arrival on site*
ABALONE – DOW (FORT SASKATCHEWAN, AB) (JOB#59146) – is requesting 1G/L to report ASAP as 6:45 am for orientation to perform general labour duties including earthworks, spotting, shoveling, raking, using jumping jacks, plate tempers, trench rollers and handling pumps for dewatering. Must have CSTS-2020, WHIMIS-2015 (taken within 3 years), Ground Disturbance, and Rigging & Hoisting (can complete online). Duration is 1 week+, working 5x10’s+/- and your must have your own transportation as there is NO Camp/No LOA/No Transportation. *The rate of this job is per the Civil Foundations Agreement*.
CLEARWATER – SYNCRUDE BASE PLT 6 (FORT MCMURRAY, AB) (JOB#59287) – is requesting 2G/L for NIGHTS (**start DAYS for approx. 1 week for 10hr shifts and switch NIGHTS on outage**) to report August 17th at 8:00 am for orientation to perform general labour duties including gas monitoring and lots of climbing. Must be clean shaven, physically fit, be able to climb and be able to wear & work with ½ mask respirator. Must have CSTS-09, OSSA Orientation or OSSA BSO/CSO, ESC Confined Space Monitor & Entry, ESC Fall Protection, Respiratory Fit Test (3M ½ Mask & 3M North Full-Mask) and Gas Detection ticket. Duration is 1 week+, working 12hr shifts and Locals are Preferred as there is NO Camp/No LOA.

RSAP PROGRAM
Notice to Members enrolled in the VOLUNTARY RSAP Program: MEMBERS ENROLLED IN THE VOLUNTARY PORTION OF RSAP WITH ACTIVE STATUS, WILL NO LONGER HAVE TO RE-TEST. YOUR RSAP STATUS WILL REMAIN ACTIVE. TESTING AFTER A 6 MONTH PERIOD IS NO LONGER REQUIRED. If you are unsure of your RSAP status, please call Amanda Stefanizyn @ the Edmonton office directly at (780)801-5126.
DRUG & ALCOHOL TESTING
Local 92 does not send members for Alcohol and Drug testing. The contractors require you to take these tests as per the site owners. You must refer to your dispatch slip and call the phone number that is listed next to "A&D Testing" in order to have a test booked in your area. Please do not proceed to orientation until you have spoken with the contractor.
TICKETS
Please ensure that all your tickets and skills are updated and on file for bidding purposes. Please do NOT bid on any job that you do not have the required tickets for. Any members who have any further questions regarding Local 92 dispatch rules, please call 780 426 6630 and speak to a business agent.
Please note; it is becoming increasingly more important that ANY members who accept a dispatch to any site, have a VALID Government issued photo ID. If you do not have valid government issued photo ID please do NOT accept a dispatch.
COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS
Any members that wish to read the Collective Agreement that they are working under can access them by visiting the CLRA (Construction Labour Relations of Alberta) website.
SUCCESSFUL BID
If you successfully bid on a job and dispatch cannot reach you within one hour of closing the callout, the job will go to the next lowest bidder on the list or back on the callout.
